Casström Swedish Strop Paste Coarse for Pre-Polishing

The Casström Swedish Strop Paste Coarse is suitable for the first step in stropping knife blades on a leather strop. The coarse aluminum oxide paste helps remove burrs and minor imperfections from the edge, preparing the blade for subsequent finer polishing.

Coarse Aluminum Oxide Paste for the Edge

The gray paste contains aluminum oxide as an abrasive and is designed for coarse pre-polishing. When stropping, it helps to refine the edge and reduce existing burrs. For a particularly fine finish, you can then switch to a medium or fine grit.

The Three Grits from Casström

The Swedish Strop Paste is available in three grits: the gray variant is intended for coarse pre-polishing, the white variant serves as a medium all-round grit, and the green chromium oxide paste performs the final fine polishing.

Easy to Apply on a Leather Strop

Rub a small amount of paste directly onto the leather surface of the strop. Then, the knife blade can be stropped over the leather as usual. If too much paste has been applied, the excess can be carefully removed, for example, with the back of an old knife.

Compact Format for On-the-Go
