Casström Swedish Hunter's Combo

Casström Hunter's Combo: Two Hunting Knives for Game Processing

The Casström Hunter's Combo combines two hunting knives specially designed for game processing in one set: the No.10 Swedish Forest Knife and the Swedish Field Dresser. Together, these two fixed-blade knives cover different tasks for gutting, skinning, and butchering game, providing you with the right blade for every job in the field.

Two Knives, Two Strengths

No.10 Swedish Forest Knife

The No.10 Swedish Forest Knife features a 10.3 cm long blade made of stainless 14C28N with a flat grind and a 4.0 mm blade thickness. The ergonomically shaped handle fits securely in the hand and is particularly suitable for skinning and butchering game. This versatile hunting knife is also well-suited for other hunting and outdoor tasks.

Swedish Field Dresser

The Swedish Field Dresser is designed as a versatile hybrid hunting knife and can be used for gutting, skinning, and as a classic hunting knife. The 7.5 cm long blade made of stainless 14C28N has a specially rounded tip, which is intended to reduce the risk of puncture injuries during evisceration. The straight flat grind also makes resharpening easier compared to a knife with a strongly curved blade.

14C28N with Cryogenic Treatment

Both blades are made of Sandvik/Alleima 14C28N, a stainless knife steel that has been enhanced with cryogenic treatment. The blades achieve a hardness of 59–60 HRC, offering a good combination of edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance for hunting use.

Grippy G10 and Thought-out Carrying System

The handles of both knives are made of orange G10. The striking color makes it easier to find the knives in the field. Stainless steel rivets or aluminum rivets and black spacers complete the robust construction.

The set includes Kydex sheaths and leather hangers, allowing both knives to be carried securely and accessibly on a belt. The carrying system provides quick access to the needed knife.

Two Knives for More Hygienic Game Processing

The Hunter's Combo is particularly practical if you want to carry out different work steps during game processing with separate knives. By using two knives, the risk of transferring bacteria between different work steps can be reduced. This way, the set supports clean and controlled game processing.
