A new chapter begins: Arno Bernard Knives and the Messerdepot private labels are moving in with us.

After many years, Sven has decided to close his online shop – a decision that deeply affects the knife community and us. Messerdepot was far more than just a shop. It was passion, dedication, and a true institution. Over the years, Sven built a community based on trust, quality, and genuine exchange.

A request that touched us

Prior to his decision, Sven approached us with a special request: He wanted to discuss with us the acquisition of Arno Bernard Knives including the EU distribution rights, as well as the complete takeover of its own brands SK09, SK-X and X1 .

We can honestly say: This was a huge moment for us. A show of trust that deeply touched us. The fact that Sven turned to us with confidence for his project and entrusted us with the management of his long-standing community means the world to us. We would like to thank him from the bottom of our hearts.

And yes, we agreed immediately. Both Arno Bernard Knives and the SK09 and SK-X models fit perfectly into our product range and our philosophy. These knives stand for quality, craftsmanship, and thoughtful design – precisely the values ​​that drive us as well.

Furthermore, we have a long history with Sven: since the SK09 was first released, we have worked with him as a retailer – successfully, passionately, and with great enjoyment. Many of you may be familiar with our SK09 Special Editions : titanium scales anodized by Sven himself, or our custom-made wooden grip scales for the SK09. This collaboration has always been characterized by respect, trust, and genuine team spirit.

We have always shared the same goal: to create the best for you, the knife enthusiasts out there. This common ground makes the current acquisition more than just a business move – it is the logical continuation of an existing partnership.

The first Arno Bernard knives, including the popular Rinkhals and iMamba models, are already available in our shop. More models will follow in the coming days and weeks, and the remaining Messerdepot stock will soon be fully integrated into our inventory. We are taking the time to carefully integrate everything and gradually make the complete range available to you.

In parallel, we are already in close contact with the brothers of Arno Bernard Knives in South Africa, and we can tell you: the chemistry is right! The discussions are warm, open, and full of enthusiasm for the craft. We are confident that this collaboration will bear fruit.
