Casström No.10 SFK: Robust Bushcraft Knife with Sleipner Steel and Scandi Grind

The Casström No.10 SFK is a classic full-tang fixed blade knife for bushcraft, hunting, and demanding outdoor use. The combination of robust Uddeholm Sleipner tool steel, Scandinavian grind, and an oiled curly birch handle makes it a versatile tool for working in the wilderness.

With its 10.3 cm long blade, the No.10 SFK is designed for versatile cutting tasks. It is suitable for skinning game, carving, and preparing firewood and feathersticks. Thanks to its robust full-tang construction, the knife is also designed for more demanding outdoor use.

Sleipner Tool Steel with Scandinavian Grind

The blade is made of Uddeholm Sleipner, a high-performance tool steel with a hardness of 59–61 HRC. A cryogenic treatment complements the heat treatment. The steel is not stainless and should therefore be cared for and kept dry after use. The Scandinavian grind supports controlled and precise cutting performance, especially for typical bushcraft tasks.

Characterful Handle made of Oiled Curly Birch

The handle is made of oiled curly birch from sustainable forestry. The natural grain makes each handle piece visually special. Black liners provide a striking contrast, while brass rivets securely connect the handle construction to the full tang.

Vegetable-Tanned Leather Sheath

Included in the delivery is a high-quality vegetable-tanned leather sheath from European, sustainably produced leather manufacturing. It complements the natural look of the curly birch handle and allows for practical storage and safe transport of the knife.

Casström's First Knife

The No.10 was the first knife Casström developed. The original concept remains focused on reliability and versatile applications. With an overall length of 22.0 cm, 4.0 mm blade thickness, and a weight of 235.0 g, the knife has a solid construction for regular use in nature.
