Casström Lapland Leather Wax for Robust Leather Sheaths and Cases

The Casström Lapland Leather Wax was specially developed for leather products where shape and stability are to be maintained. It is particularly suitable for knife sheaths, cases, and holsters, as it protects the leather without making it unnecessarily soft. The wax layer makes the surface more resistant to dirt and moisture.

Protection without Softening the Leather

In contrast to classic leather greases, oils, and softening waxes, Lapland Leather Wax is designed to largely preserve the original stiffness of the leather. This is particularly important for precisely fitting leather sheaths, which must retain their shape to safely protect the knife stored within.

Natural Raw Materials

Casström primarily uses natural raw materials for this leather wax. Its composition includes beeswax, carnauba wax, and neat's-foot oil, among other ingredients. The neutral version is suitable for various types of leather and leaves a protective wax layer.

Easy Application

Apply a thin layer of the wax to the cleaned leather surface with a piece of cloth. Then let the wax dry for about 30 minutes and polish the surface with a cloth. For a particularly even result, the leather can be polished again after about 24 hours.

Depending on the leather, light leather may darken slightly with treatment, and matte leather may develop a stronger sheen. For lasting protection, the wax should be reapplied as needed, but at least several times a year.

Storage

Close the tin carefully after use so that the wax does not dry out.
