The Böker P08 Damascus combines historical military history with elaborate Solingen knifemaking artistry. As a tribute to the legendary P08 Parabellum, the compact boot dagger incorporates characteristic design elements of the famous pistol and translates them into an extraordinary knife design. The P08, also known as the Luger, was developed by Georg Luger and was one of the best-known pistols of its time due to its high manufacturing precision and striking construction. The Böker P08 Damascus not only adopts design details but also incorporates historical material from the pistol directly into the blade.

Damascus blade made from P08 barrel steel

The 8.2 cm long and 3.5 mm thick blade is made of a Damascus steel forged from the barrel steel of historical P08 pistols. The renowned Damascus blacksmith Chad Nichols hand-forges the material in the characteristic Boomerang pattern. This not only gives the blade an extraordinary structure but also preserves part of the historical substance of the legendary pistol.

With a total length of 17.5 cm and a weight of 106.0 g, the P08 Damascus is designed to be compact. The combination of the Damascus blade and the historical design elements makes it, above all, a special collector's and display piece.

Rosewood handle with authentic P08 details

The handle scales are made of certified imported rosewood and pick up on the classic design of the pistol grip. The retaining screws are based on the construction of the P08, while the shaping of the handle sides reflects the characteristic cone of the exposed pistol barrel.

The bolsters and pommel are made of steel and feature a dark stonewash finish. Together with the warm rosewood, this creates a striking contrast between historical-looking and modern surfaces.

Leather sheath with Ulticlip

The scope of delivery includes a high-quality black leather sheath with a sewn-in Ulticlip. The locking spring clip allows for flexible attachment and holds the sheath reliably in place. An elegant floating display, a certificate of authenticity, and an individual serial number are also included.

As is customary for Böker's high-quality special models, the P08 Damascus is handcrafted in the Böker knife manufactory in Solingen. Its combination of historical material, elaborate workmanship, and striking P08 design language makes it an exceptional collector's item.
