The 13.0 cm long blade is made of genuine Japanese ATS 34 steel, which is carefully hardened in an oxygen-free environment and subsequently subjected to cryo-treatment. With a hardness of 60–61 HRC, the steel offers high edge retention, good toughness, and can be reliably resharpened when needed. The final wet-grinding process preserves the fine steel structure right up to the edge, enabling exceptionally high sharpness.

Full Tang for Demanding Tasks

The Super Edge 5 is designed as a full-tang knife. The 4.8 mm thick blade provides a solid foundation for heavy-duty use and combines stability with a long, highly usable edge. The spine of the blade is sharpened and optimized for use with a fire starter as well as for tasks using the edge.

Grippy TPE Handle

The 11.7 cm long handle is made of durable TPE with a proven diamond pattern. This ensures the knife remains secure in the hand, even when wet or sweaty.
