High-performance Swedish stainless steel

The blade uses high-performance stainless steel Alleima 14C28N from Sweden, formerly known as Sandvik 14C28N. This optimized alloy offers excellent edge retention, high hardness, and good corrosion resistance. Like all Casström blades, this model is cryogenically hardened to increase wear resistance and unlock the steel's full performance potential.

The continuous, tapered full-tang construction ensures stability while maintaining balanced weight distribution. The flat grind allows for excellent cutting and slicing performance. The blade reliably holds its edge and can be easily resharpened when needed, even for demanding tasks such as skinning or butchering.

The knife comes with a high-quality sheath made of 3 mm thick, vegetable-tanned European leather. The stylized Casström Leaf emblem is featured on the front.
