Böker Plus HEL Karambit Blue/Grey – Modern Karambit EDC with Tactical Character

The Böker Plus HEL Karambit Blue/Grey, designed by Hydra Design under the direction of Alessandra De Santis, reinterprets the classic karambit into a modern, everyday-carry EDC form. Inspired by Filipino Martial Arts, it combines traditional roots with contemporary design.

Design & Origin

Karambits originated in Southeast Asia and were traditionally used in agriculture. The HEL Karambit translates this form into a tactically oriented, modern pocket knife with striking lines and functional ergonomics.

Blade & Performance

The Hawkbill blade made of 154CM steel measures 6.1 cm in length with a thickness of 2.8 mm. The curved shape allows for efficient work during pulling motions and is particularly suitable for ropes, cardboard, and similar materials.

Materials & Construction

The handle made of robust G10 in blue-grey offers a secure grip and high durability. The integrated linerlock mechanism ensures reliable blade locking during use and increases work safety.

Operation & EDC Functionality

The knife is opened via a flipper or, alternatively, via a screw-removable thumb stud, which can also be used as a wave opener. The characteristic G10 ring at the end of the handle supports control during handling and reflects the design concept of Hydra Design.

A reversible wire clip (tip-up) allows for flexible carrying options in everyday life. The knife is complemented by a high-quality nylon sheath for safe storage.
