The Casström No.8 SFK (Swedish Forest Knife) expands the proven knife family with a compact and powerful model. Inspired by the popular No.10 SFK as well as classic Scandinavian Brukskniv utility knives, it combines traditional lines with modern manufacturing quality. Developed for precision and performance, it is the ideal tool for demanding outdoor activities.

Perfectly balanced for fine work

The 8.3 cm long and 3 mm thick blade is optimally dimensioned for controlled cutting tasks such as carving, woodworking, or preparing food on the go. The ergonomically designed handle with a pronounced finger choil ensures a secure grip and high comfort.

Thanks to its balanced size, the knife feels comfortable in both large and small hands. For fine carving, you can grip securely close to the blade, allowing for particularly precise guidance.

High-quality Swedish stainless steel

The proven rust-resistant high-performance steel Alleima 14C28N from Sweden, formerly known as Sandvik 14C28N, is used. The optimized alloy offers excellent edge retention, high hardness, good corrosion resistance, and easy resharpening. Like all Casström blades, this model is cryo-hardened, which further increases wear resistance.

Stability for demanding conditions

The Scandinavian grind supports controlled work in wood and is particularly suitable for carving tasks. In combination with the continuous full-tang construction, it creates a robust and durable knife for tough use in the field. Even if the handle scales are damaged, functionality is maintained.

Bushcraft-optimized

Whether as a standalone tool or in combination with an axe or larger knife, the No.8 SFK ideally complements classic bushcraft equipment. Its low weight makes it excellent as a belt knife and for specific tasks such as game preparation or fishing.

Robust materials

The handle is made of robust, green Micarta. Black inlays and brass rivets set subtle accents. The knife comes with a high-quality sheath made of 3 mm thick, vegetable-tanned European leather. The stylized Casström Leaf Emblem is on the front.
