Resistant PD613 Tool Steel with PVD Coating

Made from Japanese Daido PD613 tool steel, the SharkIV Pry bar impresses with high wear resistance and toughness. The steel contains around 8% chromium and is comparable in its properties to the well-known CPM 3V. Although it is not a powder metallurgical steel, the electroslag remelting (ESR) process gives the material a particularly high-quality microstructure.

The resistant PVD coating protects the surface from external influences and gives the tool a high-quality, dark look. The coating emphasizes the functional character of the pry bar and also ensures a durable surface that meets the demands of daily EDC use.

With an overall length of 10.8 cm and a maximum thickness of 11.0 mm, the pry bar offers a stable construction with a compact size. The thickness reduces to 8.0 mm at the tip and ring, making it versatile. The pry bar itself weighs 70.0 g; including the Kydex sheath and ball chain, the total weight is 88.0 g.

Flexible carrying options with Kydex sheath and belt clip

The J.E. Made SharkIV Tool comes with a precisely fitting Kydex sheath including a ball chain, allowing it to be flexibly attached to a keyring, backpack, or other equipment. An attachable belt clip is also included, so the pry bar can also be worn traditionally on a belt or equipment.

Depending on the version, the Kydex sheath is available in either red or orange Kydex and offers secure hold as well as a striking color accent.
