For this anniversary, we took a massive piece from the shaft of this transmission wheel and had it forged into the extraordinary 180-layer Damascus steel that forms the blade of this knife. The handle of the knife is made of smoked local chestnut wood – a wood with deep symbolism. It is reminiscent of the huge chestnut tree that once stood on our first company premises and whose image now adorns our world-famous tree logo. Although the tree fell in the early 20th century due to a thunderstorm, its memory lives on in every handle, making your knife a unique one-of-a-kind.
