Sam Lurquin is not only a gifted knife maker and blacksmith. The design of the Böker Plus Kerberos stems from his time as a dog handler in a riot control unit, with Lurquin wanting to provide his colleagues with the optimal tool for the job. Due to his specialization in fixed-blade knives, he teamed up with Raphaël Durand for this project to have him implement his design.
The self-supporting G10 handle is fully contoured and features deep finger grooves for secure and intuitive handling. The wide blade is made of D2 steel and has a horizontal satin finish. The thumb disc allows for quick and easy opening, and the satisfyingly locking backlock is a tactile delight. A knife designed by a true practical man, yet endowed with a timeless elegance that few utility knives have ever possessed.
