Böker BFF Packlite Elmax SuperClean

Böker BFF Packlite Elmax SuperClean: Ultralight skeleton knife with premium steel

The Böker BFF Packlite Elmax SuperClean combines Lucas Burnley's signature design with a consistently minimalist, all-steel construction. With an overall length of 15.5 cm, a 6.5 cm blade, and weighing only 31.0 g, this fixed-blade knife is exceptionally compact and lightweight. As a skeleton knife, neck knife, and lanyard knife, it is suitable for EDC, outdoor use, and versatile cutting tasks.

The 6.5 cm drop-point blade made of Elmax SuperClean has a hardness of HRC 59 and is aimed at users who want to combine high wear resistance with good toughness and corrosion resistance. Elmax is a powder-metallurgically produced, corrosion-resistant high-performance steel from Uddeholm. Its homogeneous structure with finely distributed carbides supports long-lasting cutting performance and a stable cutting edge.

Elmax SuperClean for high wear resistance

Elmax SuperClean is one of the modern powder-metallurgical knife steels and is designed for a balanced combination of hardness, edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance. The carbon and chromium content supports hardness and rust resistance, while vanadium and molybdenum contribute to the formation of wear-resistant carbides.

With HRC 59, the blade offers a practical balance for regular cutting tasks. The fine micro-structure of the steel helps ensure the cutting edge remains stable even with frequent use. This makes Elmax particularly well-suited for a compact fixed-blade knife where long-lasting cutting performance is required.

Minimalist all-steel construction

The open all-steel or skeletonized design reduces the knife to the essentials and ensures a robust, functional construction. The 2.5 mm thick drop-point blade is complemented by jimpings on the spine, which provide additional control during precise cutting work.

Flexible carrying options

The BFF Packlite includes a custom-fit Kydex sheath with a ball chain. This allows the knife to be easily worn as a neck knife or carried around the neck. Due to its low weight of just 31.0 g, it is particularly well-suited for minimalist EDC and as a lightweight backup knife for outdoor gear.

For EDC and outdoor use

The Böker BFF Packlite Elmax SuperClean is aimed at anyone looking for the lightest possible fixed-blade knife with high-quality high-performance steel. The combination of Elmax SuperClean, Lucas Burnley design, and robust skeleton construction blends high cutting performance with a minimalist format.

With an overall length of 15.5 cm, a blade length of 6.5 cm, and a weight of 31.0 g, the BFF Packlite remains pleasantly compact. The corrosion-resistant Elmax blade offers high wear resistance and is suitable for regular cutting tasks in everyday life and during outdoor activities.
