Linder Super Edge 8 Worker – robust craft knife for tough applications

The Linder Super Edge 8 Worker is an exceptionally robust full-tang knife for crafts, woodworking, outdoor use, and archery. Its construction is consistently designed for high durability: a 4.7 mm thick ATS-34 blade, a resilient TPE handle, and a sturdy tip make this knife a reliable tool for demanding tasks.

ATS-34 steel with 60 to 61 HRC

The 116.0 mm long blade is made of high-quality Japanese ATS-34 steel, which is carefully hardened in a vacuum and additionally subjected to cryogenic treatment. With a hardness of 60 to 61 HRC, the blade combines high edge retention with the toughness required for a robust work knife. At the same time, the edge is relatively easy to resharpen.

The knife is manufactured entirely in Solingen. During heat treatment, special care is taken to fully utilize the potential of the ATS-34 steel. The final wet grinding preserves the steel structure created by the heat treatment right up to the immediate area of the cutting edge. The result is a very sharp and long-lasting edge.

For crafts, woodworking, and archery

The design of the Super Edge 8 Worker is geared towards demanding tasks. The extra-robust tip and the stable full-tang construction allow for work where the knife is subjected to higher stress. For archers, for example, it can be used to extract wooden arrows. The solid construction also provides sufficient reserves for rough work in workshop and outdoor environments.

Sharp blade spine for additional applications

The spine of the blade is deliberately sharpened on the top side. This allows the edge to be used, for example, to strike a fire starter. The combination of robust blade thickness, a sharp spine, and a stable tip extends the range of use beyond classic cutting tasks.

Grippy TPE handle for a secure hold

The super-ergo handle consists of durable TPE with a proven diamond pattern. The material offers a secure hold even with wet or sweaty hands and remains comfortable in the hand even at low temperatures. At the same time, the TPE is resistant to oils, greases, and solvents, is abrasion-resistant, and is easy to clean.
