Morakniv Amberg Full Flat Hunting (S)

Morakniv Amberg Full Flat Hunting (S): precise hunting knife for game processing

The Morakniv Amberg Full Flat Hunting S was developed for hunting and is particularly suitable for skinning, gutting, and butchering game. At the same time, its versatile construction makes the knife a practical companion for outdoor cooking and light carving tasks. The combination of a precise full-flat grind, stainless 14C28N steel, and a grippy handle is designed for controlled work in the field.

Full Flat for controlled cuts

The 10.8 cm long blade has a full-flat grind with a secondary bevel. This results in low cutting resistance, enabling clean and controlled cuts when skinning and gutting. The grind is inspired by kitchen and food knives, combining their cutting ability with a robust blade suitable for hunting use.

Stainless 14C28N for hunting

The 3.2 mm thick blade is made of Swedish Alleima 14C28N. The stainless steel is hardened and cryogenically treated, reaching a hardness of 58 HRC. This gives the blade a good combination of stability, edge retention, and corrosion resistance, which is particularly advantageous when working with moisture and game.

The polished blade surface is easy to clean after use. However, the polished spine is not suitable for use with a fire starter.

Secure grip even in difficult conditions

The newly developed handle has a flatter shape and tapers towards the front. This provides good control and also allows for a precise pinch grip. Grooves on the spine aid guidance during detailed work.

The TPE handle surface features a special friction pattern that is designed to provide a secure grip even with cold, wet, or blood-stained hands. A finger guard complements the design.

Click-On sheath for flexible attachment

The Amberg Full Flat Hunting S comes with a reversible Click-On sheath with a belt attachment. The included Click-On holder also allows attachment to a backpack, bicycle, ATV, boat, or other equipment. This allows you to position the hunting knife within easy reach, suitable for your use.
