Arno Bernard Knives Rinkhals – Classic Slipjoint Folder with Modern Precision

The Arno Bernard Knives Rinkhals is a high-quality pocket knife from the South African manufacturer Arno Bernard Knives, where four brothers craft each knife with exceptional care and artisanal precision. From the raw blade blank to the final screw, almost every component is produced in-house – only the washers are sourced externally. The result is an uncompromisingly high-quality folder in the premium segment that combines traditional construction with modern manufacturing quality.

RWL34 Steel – Proven Everyday Performance

At the heart of the Rinkhals is the RWL34 blade steel, known for its excellent balance of edge retention, corrosion resistance, and easy sharpenability. This choice of steel makes the knife a reliable companion for daily use – whether in urban everyday life, outdoors in nature, or as a high-quality collector's item with functional demands.

The clear, reduced lines of the Rinkhals emphasize its classic character while providing a modern, functional aesthetic. Every detail is designed for durability, smooth operation, and comfortable handling.

Classic Mechanics Meet Modern Manufacturing

As a pure slipjoint folder, the Rinkhals deliberately foregoes a locking mechanism, relying instead on controlled resistance when opening and closing the blade. This traditional construction is elevated to a very high level of precision through modern manufacturing standards.

The ergonomically shaped handle scales ensure a secure grip and balanced hand position. Despite its classic mechanics, the knife does not appear old-fashioned; rather, it combines traditional knife craftsmanship with contemporary performance.
