The Casström No. 8 SFK (Swedish Forest Knife) expands the proven knife family with a compact and powerful model. Inspired by the popular No. 10 SFK and classic Scandinavian Brukskniv utility knives, it combines traditional lines with modern manufacturing quality. Designed for precision and performance, it is the ideal tool for demanding outdoor activities.

Perfectly balanced for fine work

The 8.3 cm long and 3 mm thick blade is optimally sized for controlled cutting tasks such as carving, woodworking, or preparing food on the go. The ergonomically designed handle with a pronounced finger groove ensures a secure grip and high comfort.

Thanks to its balanced size, the knife sits comfortably in both large and small hands. For fine carving work, a secure grip close to the blade is possible, allowing for particularly precise control.

High-quality Swedish stainless steel

The blade is made from the proven high-performance stainless steel Alleima 14C28N from Sweden, formerly known as Sandvik 14C28N. This optimized alloy offers excellent edge retention, high hardness, good corrosion resistance, and easy resharpening. Like all Casström blades, this model is cryogenically hardened, further increasing its wear resistance.

Stability for demanding conditions

The Scandinavian grind facilitates controlled work in wood and is particularly suitable for carving. Combined with the full-tang construction, this results in a robust and durable knife for tough outdoor use. Even if the handle scales are damaged, the knife retains its functionality.

Bushcraft-optimized

Whether used as a standalone tool or in combination with an axe or larger knife, the No.8 SFK is an ideal addition to classic bushcraft equipment. Its light weight makes it perfect as a belt knife and for specific tasks such as game preparation or fishing.

Robust materials

The handle is made of robust, green Micarta. Black inlays and brass rivets add subtle accents. The knife comes with a high-quality sheath made of 3 mm thick, vegetable-tanned European leather. The stylized Casström Leaf emblem is featured on the front.
