The aptly named Shaman takes the spirit of the Spyderco Native and translates it into a larger and even more capable version. The heart of the Shaman is its powder metallurgy CPM-S-30V blade with an extremely high-set hollow grind for outstanding cutting properties and a clearly defined point. For the all-black version, a DLC blade coating was chosen. Diamond Like Carbon, despite its extreme hardness, is an extremely thin and therefore flexible surface coating. The combination of these two technical contradictions leads to extreme wear resistance. The handle is based on skeletonized stainless steel plates and features comfortably contoured G10 scales. This robust construction provides the basis for Spyderco's extremely durable Compression Lock and a reversible clip. With lanyard hole.
