Böker BFF Packlite CPM M4: Minimalist Fixed Blade with CPM M4

The Böker BFF Packlite CPM M4 combines Lucas Burnley's signature design with a consistently minimalist, all-steel construction. With an overall length of 15.5 cm and a weight of just 31.0 g, this fixed-blade skeleton knife is exceptionally lightweight and versatile, serving as an EDC knife, neck knife, or backup knife.

CPM M4 for high edge retention

The 6.5 cm long and 2.5 mm thick drop-point blade is made of CPM M4 and hardened to 63 HRC. This powder-metallurgical tool steel is characterized by its very high wear resistance and outstanding edge retention. This makes the blade particularly suitable for cutting tasks that require long-lasting sharpness.

However, CPM M4 is not a stainless steel. Compared to rust-resistant knife steels, it is more sensitive to moisture. Therefore, the blade should be dried thoroughly after use and regularly maintained.

Open full-steel construction

The BFF Packlite CPM M4 features an open full-steel or skeletonized construction. This design reduces the weight to just 31.0 g while offering a clean, functional look. Jimpings on the spine of the blade improve control during precise cutting tasks and ensure secure handling of the blade.

Flexibly wearable as a neck knife

Due to its compact design, the fixed-blade knife is particularly well-suited as a neck knife. The custom-fit Kydex sheath is included with a ball chain, allowing it to be carried close to the body. This makes the BFF Packlite easy to integrate into EDC and outdoor gear.
