Böker Laguna Damascus Chef's Knife

The impressive Böker Laguna Damascus chef's knife is literally a piece of living history, because the 180-layer Damascus steel was forged by Chad Nichols from a solid part of the shaft of an old transmission wheel from our manufactory. In the next step, the forged piece is further processed in our die forge in Solingen. After being heated to a red glow, it is shaped by a two-ton drop hammer in a massive mold. The handle of this exceptional chef's knife, in the classic Solingen three-rivet design, is in no way inferior to the blade in terms of appearance and function. The breathtaking depth effect is reminiscent of a paradisiacal lagoon and is created by the combination of domestic poplar wood with blue resin. The chef's knife, limited to 20 pieces worldwide, is delivered with an individual serial number in a leather-covered gift box and a certificate of authenticity. The chef's knife, or cook's knife, is one of the most important knives in the kitchen and is part of the basic equipment. It has a slightly wider and longer blade than the utility knife. The slender tip is excellent for cutting onions or small vegetables. Thanks to its length, however, it can also be used excellently as a meat knife. Even large vegetables can be easily processed with it.
