Boker Plus CID cal .45 Brass

The Böker Plus CID cal .45 is a tactical pen that sets new standards in design and technology. It was conceived by Rainer Wenning, who also developed the Böker Plus Pocket-Sticks SO4PRO-K, and knife maker Thomas Braunagel (BFK). The use of a bayonet mechanism is revolutionary. Purely functionally, the bayonet mechanism significantly increases ease of use, as neither a cap needs to be unscrewed nor the writing tip needs to be twisted out for writing.

The bayonet slider is just as quick to operate as the classic push button and ensures an absolutely secure grip when used as a tactical pen, as the thumb can rest securely on the pen head. Equally important in civilian use is the guaranteed satisfaction of the male urge to play by operating the high-quality bayonet closure. You can now counter the annoying clicking of nervous users of plastic ballpoint pens with the satisfying sound of the bayonet closure, which is made entirely of metal.

Another striking feature is the Clip-Integrated Design (CID). It offers the advantage of easy storage in a pocket without needing a protruding clip that could press unpleasantly into the palm when gripping tightly. The minimally springy clip is sized so that it offers a pleasant resistance when, for example, placed over the seam of a normal jeans pocket or functional trousers. The body of the Tactical Pen CID cal .45 is CNC-machined from brass and combines high-quality elegance and ergonomics with its understated structure. Brass as a material for tactical pens has its own unique charm. The golden color is, of course, striking, but a brass pen, due to its significantly higher material weight, also has a completely different feel and appearance compared to titanium or aluminum. And the patina that brass inevitably gets with daily use gives the pen an exceptional used or vintage look.

This version with revised mechanics is compatible with the Lamy M-22 refill, which can be easily obtained in any stationery store.
