Böker Plus Pocket Smatchet

The Böker Smatchet, designed by Col. Rex Applegate, was originally developed as an impressive, large-format combat knife that could also be used as a versatile outdoor tool. However, due to its size, it was rather impractical for everyday use. This is where the newly developed Böker Plus Pocket Smatchet by Chuck Gedraitis comes in. It combines the characteristic design of the classic Smatchet with the advantages of a handy pocket knife. Chuck Gedraitis, an American custom knife maker, has been designing and manufacturing high-quality and practical knives since the age of 16 and has already received numerous awards for his innovative designs.

The robust Pocket Smatchet features a leaf-shaped spearpoint blade made of VG-10 steel, finished with a durable stonewash. A removable thumb pin on the spine allows for ambidextrous opening, while a sturdy liner lock ensures secure locking. The decorative hollow groove continues onto the non-slip handle scales made of green canvas Micarta, which offer a particularly secure grip thanks to their fine texturing. The robust, milled-from-the-solid clip (tip-up/r) is also designed with the distinctive recesses of the classic Smatchet. The knife is also equipped with a lanyard hole and comes in a high-quality nylon sheath for storage.
