The Rangebuster is a traditional pocket knife that was developed in the USA in the 18th century for use in agriculture. The lightweight and relatively simple knife is reminiscent of the Solingen Hippekniep, but here it is equipped with a reliable backlock. The satin-finished drop-point blade made of ice-hardened N690 steel with 60 to 61 HRC has a flat grind and is opened using the traditionally serrated nail-notch. Olive green canvas Micarta is used as the handle material, and the decorative rivets are made of brass. Thanks to the contoured handle scales and the slim, lightweight construction, the Böker Rangebuster lies very comfortably in the hand, thus transforming it from a work knife into a gentleman's knife. Handcrafted in the Böker knife manufactory in Solingen.
