Mora Eldris Light Duty Dusty Blue

The Mora Eldris Light Duty is a versatile all-round knife designed for everyday use and suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications. It's compact and handy, easily fitting in your pocket or toolbox. Despite its short 59 mm blade and 2 mm thickness, the Eldris Light Duty is ideal for work in the garden, workshop, or kitchen. The polished blade made of high-quality Swedish stainless steel ensures lasting sharpness and is resistant to moisture and oxidation. The ergonomic, barrel-shaped polymer handle provides a secure and stable grip, while the optimal handle geometry ensures comfortable friction contact. A belt clip can be added to the knife if needed.

WARNING : Unlike the classic Eldris, the Light Duty has a rounded blade back and is therefore not suitable for striking a fire steel!

What is the difference between Eldris and Eldris Light Duty?

The Eldris is Mora's answer to the frequently asked question about a pocket knife. And in our opinion, Mora has succeeded extremely well! The Eldris is small, compact, fits in any pocket, but can deliver a decent performance. The Eldris has been so successful since its market launch in 2016 that Morakniv has released another variant: The Mora Eldris Light Duty. Where the difference is, you ask? Rightly so, because it's not immediately apparent.

The only difference lies in the blade: The classic Eldris has a compound grind, as we already know from the Kansbol – the Eldris Light Duty has a full Scandi grind. The classic Eldris also has a 90° sharp spine and is suitable for striking a fire steel; the Light Duty has a rounded spine and is therefore not fire steel compatible. Handle, size and weight remain virtually identical for both models.
